More Insights

Built in 1956 (70 years old).
Condition: Built in 1956, this home has received 'thoughtful updating done in the past,' as noted in the description. The kitchen features functional but dated tile countertops and backsplash, wood cabinets, and a mix of older and newer appliances. Bathrooms are clean and functional but also show signs of being updated 15-30 years ago with basic fixtures and finishes. While the original wood floors are lovely and well-maintained, the overall aesthetic in key areas like the kitchen and bathrooms is outdated, and core systems (like the visible older AC unit) may require future attention. The property is well-maintained and move-in ready, but would benefit from cosmetic updates to align with current styles.

About this home

Well look here, a great 50's home with some thoughtful updating done in the past. Inside the living space is impressive making it a perfect entertaining/busy living home with an easy flow, from living to dining, to kitchen and out to the back patio. The tile kitchen with it's generous counter and cabinet space has 2 dining bar pass-thru's to help keep the kitchen the center of activity, there's a free standing oven w/a down draft vent and a front facing window (a must for me). The original wood floors are lovely. Out back is an easy maintenance yard with a large covered patio for those backyard barbecues. This home is close to dining and a reasonable walk to public transportation, school, the theater and downtown Lodi. The Holidays are knocking at the door and this would be an ideal place to celebrate them.
